Manila Bus Terminals

Finding a bus company in the Philippines is already a tough job. There are lots of bus companies around, but only very few do have a website. In our bus transportation section you find 6 bus companies with websites and 26 with either phone number or e-mail address.
But when you arrive in Manila, you also have to find the terminal of your bus company. There is no bus terminal at the airport and there is no central bus terminal. To make the search job even tougher, not all companies going south are to be found in the southern bus terminals of Metro Manila.
The same is true for the north.
There are 3 major sectors in Metro Manila where you can find bus terminals: EDSA in Pasay, Sampaloc and Cubao in Quezon City.
Use the map controls to zoom or to switch the map type.

EDSA-Pasay Bus Terminals

The best solution to get from the airport to the terminal of your bus company is taking a taxi. Even the rather nearby Pasay Terminals are not easy to find. Indicate the terminal and the bus company, your taxi driver will bring you there. To the Pasay terminals think of 10 minutes off-rush.hour and 20 minutes from 4 to 8 PM. The fare should not exceed 150 pesos.

Sampaloc Bus Terminals

Sampaloc is the bus terminal of the rather cheap bus companies. Take a taxi from the airport, it is the safest way to get there. A good driver might also drive through run-down streets without light in the night. We experienced this several times. It's save. The driver simply does not want to get stuck in the rush-hour traffic. But read also our taxi page.

Cubao - Quezon City Bus Terminals

Cubao is our preferred bus terminal in Metro Manila. If you could not get a ticket using the Internet, you should go there (taxi, of course) about 3 to 4 hours in advance. Once you got your ticket, you may go to the nearby Araneta Mall and have either lunch or dinner. From this terminal leave the famous Peñafrancia Tours Deluxe Benz. This is the Orient Express of the bus lines in the Philippines.
